Other sophisticated search techniques like wild cards and date ranges are also provided to help investigators further customize queries to their needs. Print & E-Mail Files
NIST Repository makes it easy to share your digital Livescan fingerprint files by including features that enable images and data to be printed and/or emailed. With NISTrepository, you can pick and choose what information to provide and how you want to provide it. This is especially helpful when outside agencies request information from your department.

Paperless Digital Archive
Typically, Livescan machines only keep a set number of EFT files before they begin to purge the older records. The files are either overwritten or erased to make room for new bookings. With NISTrepository, all of your agency’s bookings are electronically saved in their original format -- safely stored away for future use in records departments, investigations or local AFIS systems. With the low cost of digital storage, most agencies can easily store years of Livescan history with little additional cost to their existing infrastructure.
