Installation

With each agency having unique requirements, our installation, just like our software, is tailored to fit our customers’ needs. A typical installation includes the set up and configuration of the integrated capture workstation in your booking area. The camera is mounted, white balanced and tested to insure consistent quality mug shot images. The PictureLink software configuration is then fine tuned for interfacing to your existing applications (when appropriate). Standard forms are created or modified for your application environment.

Installation service length depends on the sophistication of the agencies’ implementation as well as the number of workstations being installed. Your administrative personnel are strongly encouraged to work alongside our technician for a hands-on learning experience. Installation services are available for new sales, upgrading software versions, adding additional products, and interfacing to new applications. In some cases, adding capabilities and upgrading to new versions may be performed via telephone with a technician walking you through every step of the way. No matter which type of installation best fits your needs, you can be sure that our project management and administrative staff will be doing their best to insure it goes off without a hitch.
