Dynamic Imaging Systems, Inc. ("DIS," "we," "us," or "our"), a Harris Computer company, is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. We also believe in transparency, and this Policy explains how we treat your personal data. Please read this Policy carefully to learn more about how we process personal information and what rights you may have under applicable law.

When does this Policy apply? This Policy describes our practices for the personal information for which we are a "data controller" under applicable law, including information collected when you visit this website (the "Site"). This Policy does not apply to our corporate affiliates and subsidiaries — for information about their data practices, please contact each company directly. It also does not apply when we process personal data on behalf of a customer agency using our CorreTrak, PictureLink, PositiveID+, or Focus products; for information about a customer's data practices, please contact that agency directly, as we are not responsible for our customers' privacy or security practices.

How Do We Collect & Use Personal Information?

We collect the following types of personal data for the purposes listed below. You may choose not to provide us with any personal information, but you will not be able to access portions of the Site that require it (such as our Request a Demo form).

Contact Information

If you submit our Request a Demo or Information form, contact us, or otherwise inquire about our products or services, we collect your name, agency or company name, job title, work email address, and phone number, along with the products you're interested in and the nature of your inquiry. We process this information to respond to your request, provide customer support, manage our relationship with you, and keep records of our communications with you.

Communications & Inquiries

If you contact us, in addition to your Contact Information, we receive the subject matter of your message and any comments, content, or other information you choose to provide, which we process for the same purposes described above.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in Cookie Consent & Your Choices below. If you choose to disable cookies and similar technologies, some areas and features of the Site may not work properly.

Device & Usage Information

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect information from your browser and device, including the date and time of your visit, your approximate location, Internet Protocol (IP) address or unique device identifier, browser type, and the pages you visit. We process this information to operate the Site, ensure its security, develop new features, and for usage analytics.

How Do We Share Your Personal Information?

  • Corporate Affiliates. We may share personal information with our corporate parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates within the Harris Computer / Constellation Software family, and their respective officers, employees, and agents.
  • Service Providers. We use HubSpot, Inc. as our website content, marketing, and customer relationship management (CRM) platform. Information you submit through our forms, and certain cookie/analytics data described below, is processed by HubSpot on our behalf as a service provider. We also share information with other agents, contractors, and service providers who support the Site or our business operations.
  • Acquisitions & Similar Transactions. We may disclose personal information in connection with a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our business or assets.
  • Legal Obligations & Rights. We disclose personal information in response to subpoenas, warrants, court orders, or other legal process, to comply with applicable law, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • Professional Advisors. We share information with our insurers and other professional advisors (attorneys, accountants, consultants, auditors) who need it to provide services on our behalf.
  • With Your Consent. We will only share your personal information with other unaffiliated third parties not described in this Policy with your consent.
  • Deidentified or Aggregated Data. We may share information that does not identify you, such as aggregated demographic or usage data, for reporting, business, or marketing purposes.

Selling personal information is not part of our business model. We have not sold or shared personal information with third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we do not intend to do so.

How Long Do We Process Your Information?

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When we no longer need your information for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, unless we're required to retain it under applicable law. Where required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we keep records of consumer requests and our responses for at least 24 months.

How Do We Protect Your Personal Information?

We maintain reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal information from accidental loss, misuse, alteration, or unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no security system is perfect and no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. If a data breach compromises your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulator as required by law.

Cookie Consent & Your Choices

This Site is built on HubSpot's content management and marketing platform. When you visit, HubSpot's tracking code may set cookies (such as hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssrc, and __hssc) to recognize repeat visitors and measure how the Site is used. We also load web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address when a font file is requested.

We use HubSpot's opt-in, cookie-by-category consent banner (Analytics, Advertisement, and Functionality categories, with Global Privacy Control support) — non-essential cookies are not set until you make a choice. You can manage your preferences at any time using the controls in our website footer:

  • Cookie Settings — reopen the consent banner to change your category choices.
  • Do Not Track — stop HubSpot's tracking code from collecting any data about your visits, including anonymized traffic.
  • Delete My Cookies — revoke your previously stored consent choices; you'll be shown the banner again on your next visit, as a new visitor would be.

EU/EEA/UK Residents

If you are located in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and withdrawal of consent as described above. If you believe we have not processed your personal information in accordance with applicable law, you may lodge a complaint with us or with your local data protection supervisory authority. Nevada Residents

Nevada residents may submit a verified request to us to opt out of any future sale (as defined under Nevada law) of covered information we have collected or will collect about you. Selling information is not part of our business model, and we do not currently sell such information. Please contact us using the details below with your name and contact information.

California Residents

This section describes our practices under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA").

Categories of Personal Information We Collect

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have collected the following CCPA categories of personal information: identifiers (e.g. name, email, phone number); personal information categories described in the California Customer Records statute; internet or other electronic network activity information; and professional or employment-related information (e.g. job title, agency/company). We collect this information directly from you and, for Device & Usage Information, automatically through cookies described above.

Sale, Sharing & Disclosure

Selling or sharing personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration is not part of our business model. We have not sold or shared any of these categories of personal information for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months, and do not offer any financial incentive in exchange for personal information. We have disclosed personal information for a business purpose to our corporate affiliates and to service providers, including HubSpot, Inc., for the purposes described above.

Your CCPA Rights

As a California resident, you have the right to request that we: (1) disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you; (2) delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions; (3) correct inaccurate personal information; and (4) limit the use of any sensitive personal information. You also have the right to opt out of any future sale or sharing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We will need to verify your identity before completing certain requests, which may require you to provide your name, address, and phone number. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf subject to proof of your authorization. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, we currently do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Canadian Residents

If you are located in Canada, our processing of your personal information is subject to the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, if you are a Quebec resident, Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector ("Quebec's Law 25").

Your PIPEDA Rights

You have the right to be informed of the existence, use, and disclosure of your personal information; to access that information; and to challenge its accuracy or completeness and have it corrected. You may also file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Additional Rights for Quebec Residents

If you are a Quebec resident, you also have the right to access and rectify your personal information free of charge (a reasonable fee may apply only for transcription, reproduction, or transmission); we will respond to your request within 30 days. You may also request that we cease disseminating your personal information, or de-index a hyperlink providing access to it, where the dissemination is unlawful or causes you serious injury to your reputation or privacy that clearly outweighs the public interest in the information or the right to free expression — this right is narrower than the erasure right described elsewhere in this Policy and does not apply to a general deletion request. Complaints may be submitted to the Commission d'accès à l'information.

Third-Party Sites & Services

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or applications the Site may link to. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, media, or privacy or security practices. If you click a third-party link, you will be redirected away from the Site.

Children

Our Site, products, and services are directed to law enforcement and corrections professionals and are not directed to children under the age of 13; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Updates & Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page, and for material changes we will provide reasonable notice, such as a notice on our homepage. Your continued use of the Site after the "Last updated" date constitutes acceptance of the then-current Policy.
